Anyone else have one that doesn't know how claws work? - eviltoast

11yrs old and still would rather rip his arms off than learn how to unhook his claws. Love this goober

    He gets stuck on anything and everything when he uses his claws. Blankets, couch, cat toys… He has other posts not as wooly as this that he’ll be on. Agreed I do need to shave and refinish this post though

      Do you clip his claws? If my wife and I don’t clip our cats claws like once every 2 weeks or so they get stuck on stuff too.

      How old is that scratching post? I’ve had the same one for my cats for almost 10 years and it’s not nearly that beat up looking.

      Sisal carpet is better than rope for cats is my understanding. There are some places online that sell carpet remnants for cats. You can just hot glue the carpet to a cardboard tube on or an existing cat post.
