Are they as naggy about upgrading from a free license as autodesk? I see that all designs in the free tier license are public, which I imagine stops a lot of commercial abuse. Seems like a fair trade off to me. I put anything I think anyone would find useful on thingiverse anyway.

Fusion used to be great, but they bother me so much about upgrading now. It’s a hobby. I’d spend a couple hundred bucks on the software if they had a ‘seriously, i’m a legit hobby user just stop nagging me’ tier, but their pricing is insane if you’re not using it to generate income.

I’m not sure, I’ve always had a paid account. The free version has all the features but the models are stored in a public cloud. It’s kind of a weird system but I think it’s a decent compromise to let hobbiest use it for free but incentivize businesses to upgrade. I wish the free tier had a way to make specific projects private even if it were a small fee to save it.
