If the infrastructure is key to the war effort, fair game. But like, the nether the Houthis nor the British are directly involved in the Israeli invasion of Palestine. Whereas I’m pretty sure Ukraine–having been invaded by Russia on false pretenses–has limited their targets to inside Ukraine and Russia.

Also, like, terrorism has a definition. The purpose behind Ukrainian attacks are direct military goals, while the Houthis are trying to generate pressure on the international community to drop support for Israel. The Houthis are using bottom-tier logic, but it is fundamentally different from what Ukraine is doing both in terms of actions and reasoning.

Initially the Houthis only blocked ships related to israel which is completely fair game and heroic as they are standing up against Genocide.

Then America and Britain decided to bomb Yemen in order to help israel in their Genocide.

      Now follow me here:

since Britain has bombed yemen they are directly at war with Yemen.

And these British ships are as directly involved in the war with the Houthis, as Russian trains are with the war in Ukraine.

One thing I have seen that people like to whine, but when you present a solution, it’s controversial at best, there is still some sort of prejudice in everyones heart about palestine

It still amazes me that right after everyone got a masterclass on “people who are being colonized have the right to defend themselves” in Ukraine, they turn around and put an israeli flag in their profile picture.

Even this meme pointing out the severe hypocrisy is only met with denial.

Uh, I don’t think that is common sentiment here, I see this not as that houthis should have a free pass because Ukraine did it, but rather both Ukraine and Houthis should be criticized equally for this kind of stuff

Majority here is still pro-Palestine though, even tho zionazis are increasing day by day, but like I said there is probably still some sort of prejudice even if it’s small

Personally I swing the complete opposite way.

Ukrainians are based for blowing up Russian railways.

And the Houthis are based for blocking shipping.

I also believe that small talk is not gonna stop Russia or Israel, but the problem is in olden times you could declare a war, pickup swords and go to the battlefield, which meant that there was very little collateral damage and people who didn’t get involved did not really have to worry about their lives, today though everyone has missiles and nuclear weapons, which means people sitting 1000miles away who have nothing to do with this will also suffer

Yes but that’s why damaging their economy is so great. If you do it right it often costs far less lives than doing combat.

The Houthis have massively impacted the war and they haven’t killed a person so far!
