I’ve lived there and will be permenantly relocating there. I guess I will be joining team Finland but I still disagree that I am “team left”.

To me it sounds like you’ve just never personally experienced socialism working.

Here’s another example of socialism working https://www.nbim.no/en/

If you don’t understand what that large number means it is the savings account of the entire country thanks to the oil boom. No one in Norway has to ever worry about money, assuming the government continues doing their job correctly.

Unlike Alberta, where I’m from, the people individually reaped the profits of the oil boom and we have fuck all to show for it. People spent the money on fancy toys like trucks. Those guys who used to make 300k a year, majority are broke now.

Canada could have been the richest nation on the planet if we socialized our natural resource profits. We were in the same boat as Norway but only they came out rich, what do you think is the main difference?

At this point it doenst really matter what I say or know, you are like most people that pick a team and then believe the are perfect. Mover there, whatever you want.

I’m not sure what you mean? I’m listing examples of socialism working. I’m not able to move to Norway, or Iceland for example which is also successful due to socialism.

The best countries to live on the planet are socialist and there are statistics to back that up.

You’re wrong about me just believing what others say. I’m economically left but socially right, it’s a pretty uncommon political opinion to have but I’m not going to elaborate because a mod will get butthurt and ban me for my opinions.

The problem with your whole premise is that Finland is not socialist, nor is Iceland and Norway. In fact on the Index of economic freedom all three of those countries have a higher rating than the US does. If you want to look at actual socialist countries they are much lower on the economic freedom index.
