I don’t think it’s possible. And please change the title of your post to something more descriptive. I just see it as “@mozilla”.
OP posted from Mastodon and for some reason mentioned the Firefox Lemmy community instead of just mentioning Mozilla’s / Firefox’s Mastodon account.
It’s because Mastodon makes it impossible to distinguish between groups and users.
I don’t think there’s a way to remove it, even though there are 3 different ways of accessing that menu.

I don’t like that huge button either… If they want to have button for it in the homepage they should change it to be a small cogwheel icon next to the private mode icon or something.

Firefox focus removes all the clutter from the homepage, and has more built-in privacy controls
Doesn’t come with bookmarks, history sync and addons though…
