24 watts is quite a lot of continuous power for a small device with no airflow or other cooling. What on earth was it doing, besides cooking itself?

Theoretically tracking my car if it had been stolen, if I had paid for the subscription, that is. Supposed to also have a glass break sensor and interrupt the starter in cases of break in, but I’ve heard these functions are less than reliable.
