Memmy developers were able to build a better app in a month than Reddit’s team was able to build in ten years - eviltoast

I’m not sure what that says about the quality of the Memmy team or that of Reddit or both.

Really? Reddit app sucks but Memmy won’t even load my communities or let me comment.

Wefwef’s web app is better than Reddit’s native app though.

:( the subscriptions seems to be something that changed in the latest version of Lemmy (seeing it on all instances that upgraded to the latest RC)

As for comments, what’s the issue? I’ll try to help you out.

But wefwef is great too, awesome app, especially for the quick dev time.

Yeah I’ve heard it’s a lemmy issue, but it didn’t seem to affect wefwef luckily.

I was just getting an error trying to comment yesterday when I tested the app out for a couple hours. Not sure if it’s still happening today, I’m just sticking to wefwef for now since it seems to be a bit more stable and isn’t lacking any features that I’m looking for.
