So my boss is having me install temporary heaters in a local grocery store. They are single phase 240v 36amp. I told him I need 8 wire for this and he made me use the 10/2 mc I had. I explained to him how this is not safe the wire isn’t rated to exceed 30amps. When I checked amps at the panel to see what it was pulling each leg was pulling 30-33amps. How long do you think this will last before getting to hot?
