The apartment that I am renting is in an old building. The bathroom has a window but no fan. I live somewhere that gets really cold in the Winter and really humid in the Summer, so opening the bathroom window is not always a good idea.
I want to solve 2 problems:
- It gets humid after showers
- I want my guests to be able to poop in peace (both noise and smell)
My ideas for handling this is to get a small dehumidifier (helps problem #1) and a wall-mounted fan that I can plug into the light (when the light is turned on, the outlet is also turned on, so the fan would start automatically. Helps problem #2).
Has anyone had a similar issue? How have you handled it?
