guys I’m very new to this so in the great words of Michael Scott, explain it to me like I’m five and also don’t laugh if I say something stupid please
I’ve started getting into ripping my blu-rays and dvds so I won’t need the actual discs or disc drive to watch them but I didn’t realize how much space they take up. I guess I should have known, but I’m basically all out of space on my computer. I’ve been using a free trial of anydvd and just one disc rip for a particular tv show (yes it’s The Office) gives me a folder anywhere from 35-45GB. Is there a way to make them less chunky? I’ve been using jriver media center to watch them if that helps.
Also I’ve been looking into external hard drives to store them on, does anyone have recommendations for decent portable drives with a looot of storage? Thanks!
