Original Title: After I will point my router at my homeserver IP address (with Pihole running in Docker) it works for around 60 seconds, after that my router changes ip address and also my homeserver also gets new IP address.

Hello. I am new to the home server hobby. I am currently running Ubuntu 22 LTS on Intel NUC. I have a lot of fun with it actually.

Today I installed Pihole with Docker and I wanted to point my router DNS server (primary one). After that, everything is working for around 60 seconds. After one minute, everything “reloads” and my router gets new ip address and my home server gets new ip address as well and everything stops working.

I am using TP-Link Archer AX-5400, I tried to map my home server with “Address Reservation” to one ip address but even with that, after DNS server change it still swaps ips.

What am I doing wrong?

(I am running only Pihole, without unbound or anything but I guess it should still be fine?)
