I have four Unifi APs providing wifi coverage from a custom router running OpenWRT, and I am managing them through the Unifi Network Application from my laptop. All four APs are wired to the router through MoCA. What I’ve noticed when looking at the “Unifi Devices” webpage is that there is a connection column where they all appear to be connected to one of the APs (namely, the “Kitchen” AP). However, I explicitly have the mesh networking setting disabled. I could not find an explanation for what this means or what “#5” and “#1” are referring to – are they acting as a mesh network or does this mean something else?
