Good day,

I seems to be having the following problem. I can’t get a Surface Pro 3 connected via WiFi. It sees my SSID for my home (not hidden). I put in my password (Security Key) and it changes to “Checking network requirements” then after a few seconds “Can’t connect to this network”. There are plenty of other devices connected currently to both 2.4 Ghz and 5 Ghz WiFi network with no problem.

Hardware:

* Surface Pro 3 (tried both Windows 10 Enterprise and Windows 11 Enterprise)

* UniFi USG-Pro-4

* UniFi US-16-150W

* UniFi UAP-AC-HD

* UniFi Cloud Key

I have tested the Surface Pro 3 hardware by connecting it to a HotSpot on my phone. It connects fine with no problems. So I believe I have ruled out the Surface Pro 3. I have also installed a fresh clean install of Windows 11 Enterprise.

Within the UniFi console - If I select “INSIGHTS” and select at the top bar “All”, “All”, “All”, “Noted” the Surface shows there. Highlighting it shows that it is not blocked. When I change the last option from “Noted” to “Blocked” the MAC address and device is not displayed. It’s also not listed in blocked.

I have also looked at my Settings/Wireless Networks/MAC FILTER/Enable filtering MAC addresses is unchecked.

So I’m not sure how this device is being blocked on the WiFi/Network. Is there some other menu or I would prefer Telnet where I can get an entire list of blocked devices.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I have search these previous posts but can’t find something that matches closely with what I’m dealing with.
