Hey everyone, I’m having trouble with my setup and can’t figure out how to fix it.
For reference, for my setup, I have 1Gb symmetrical fiber internet service connected to a UDM SE via 10GB SFP. UDM is connected to a USW Enterprise 24 via a 10GB DAC, I have several flex minis and a flex XG connected to it for connectivity in different rooms. I also have 2 U6 enterprises for WiFi.
My problem is If I run an Internet speed test when on Ethernet from any room and even directly connected to a port on the enterprise 24 switch yields a result of about 450Mb download and 950Mb upload. Interesting enough if I run the same speed test on Wi-Fi I can get 900+ download speeds on 6Ghz band, and the APs are connected to the same switch. If I plug directly into one of the lan ports on the UDM I get 950 download and if I run a speed test on the UDM it gets 900+ download. So the problem seems to be at the enterprise 24 switch, but if I do an openspeedtest to my nas that is connected to the switch from any machine also on the switch I can get 2.4+ Gbs down/up. So I can’t figure out why my ethernet download speeds to the Internet are only impacted. I’ve tried speed tests with different online servers and from different machines on my network with similar results. I can’t make sense of this. Anyone experienced something like this before?
