I have been looking at Unifi wireless more and more as it does most of what I need. Question for others out there… What have you seen in terms of large enterprise campus deployments around 1000-1500+ users, multiple buildings (4-5), and various outdoor areas? I’d like to provide seamless roaming as people are going building to building as well as walking/working outside + voip wireless phones. Since Unifi won’t do CAPWAP tunnels, I’d need to go full L2 for this but is L2 an OK choice here? With the ability to easily provide 10+ gb/s redundant fiber, L2 is entirely doable. Yes there is always Cisco but I’d rather not pay that much. Curious what others have seen out there in terms of large deployments. I have seen case studies so I know it’s possible for sure. Starting the research phase and gathering info for this project so any insight would be great.
