It's that time of year again. It's dark outside and I need some variety to pick from. Don't go into the new year unprepared. - eviltoast

I live up North and the days are really short here in winter. The sun doesn’t rise until 9.30 in the morning and sets at 15.30 already. I need flashlights of all sizes and shapes to fill my needs and urges for artificial sunlight in my pocket these days.

Im moving to sweden where theres not a lot of sunlight in winter so im excited to use my flashlights. Also theres a lot more wilderness there than in hungary where i am currently.

The best thing about winter up here is that you can use all your flashlights and can easily find excuses to buy more

I want to go into the new year prepared, but I currently have 0 real flashlights that fit in a pocket well. I only have an SP36 since I lost my TS10. And a D4V2 coming sometime

I can recommend the wurkkos fc11 for daily driving. It is relatively cheap and has a decent build quality. It comes with usb-c connector so you can always charge it when out and about and far away from a bench charger. I’ve been daily driving mine for over a year now and it’s perfect and when it’s so cheap I wouldn’t mind too badly if I were to accidentally loose or break it. It has certainly already been so useful it earned its price already. It has a nice warm colour (I’d recommend the warm color version) and a really nice colorrendring
