I have proposed this on the official Rust users forum too, where votes are in favor, and the decision by mods is pending.

Edit: Discourse thread structure doesn’t fit this purpose, and because it’s more natural to use a platform where more developers are found, I have created a GitHub org and invite everyone interested to comment here.
