Best:

Cecil B. Demented

Melanie Griffith is fantastic as the failed Hollywood star, Honey Whitlock, who gets kidnapped by Film Terrorists bent on destroying the Hollywood system with its moronic sequels and remakes of foreign films. At one point, Honey screams: “Patch Adams doesn’t need a Director’s Cut. The first was long enough”. For anyone who likes Film and can get the references, Cecil B. Demented is an absolute howler. Michael Shannon is particularly hilarious as a closeted assistant, crushing on the male star of the gang.

Worst:

A Dirty Shame

It felt like a extended sketch comedy from Mad TV and what a waste of Tracey Ullman as repressed Sylvia Stickles who becomes sexually promiscuous after being bonked. Amusing concept, poor execution. Selma Blair wearing giant udders, Johnny Knoxville being disgusting. At one point Tracey Ullman shoves a bottle in her vagina which would be cool if the actual film was funny. It isn’t. It’s painfully boring.
