Saw the post about movie trailers not matching the movie and it got me thinking; any examples of a trailer ruining a movie for you or giving away a major plot point?
For me, it was the movie “Quarantine” (2008). It had a major marketing push that featured the same cool shot over and over. It was even the image they used for the movie poster outside the theater it was showing in. Towards the end of the movie when that scene still hadn’t happened of the main character being dragged away into the dark I realized it was the last shot of the movie. They had spoiled the final climax of the movie for everyone before you even set foot in the theater
