Hello! I’m planning to spend 4-6 weeks in Sweden next summer (July-August) for a fun family vacation with young kids. We’ve spent some time in Stockholm (and archipelago), but would like to explore another part of the country for this trip.

We like to spend time swimming, cycling, hiking, boating, etc. But we also would like to be within an hour or so of a city with great museums and restaurants.

1. Any recommendations for regions or specific towns?

2. What is the best website to find a house to rent for longer stays?

Apologies if this is the wrong place to ask. I’m new to Reddit, but am appreciative of any suggestions or advice.
