My spouse and I are fortunate enough to each own a Nintendo Switch. I don’t game as often (and don’t commute for work via train), so it made sense my partner would have their own. I always try to buy the “family/group” style games on my account, as I know I’m the one whose most likely going to have my Switch in the dock and I’m the more social of the two of us.
They saw I bought the new Super Mario Wonder and we added their Nintendo profile to my account so the could play it and we wouldn’t need 2 copies. I came home from work less than an hour ago to find a number of games now downloaded on my Switch - including Hogwarts Legacy (a game I tried at a friend’s house and would LOVE to play). However, I can’t play any of them, because they are my spouse’s digital games. My spouse apparently didn’t feel like removing my Switch from the dock and putting in their own (where the games are already downloaded), so they just decided to re-download the onto my Switch instead.
I now get to go through and make a list of all the games I need to delete (since I can’t play them), and I can’t even express my mild infuriated feelings with my partner because they’re taking a nap. At the end of the day, it doesn’t matter, but I am mildly infuriated.
