Special Tuesday Movie Night, 9PM EST: Hail, Caesar! (2016), Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015), and Sailor Moon: Hearts in Ice (1994)! (CWs inside). - eviltoast

For this special Tuesday Movie Night, first up, by special request, is the Coen Bros.‘s 1950s Hollywood satire Hail, Caesar! (2016), concerning the search for a movie star who suddenly disappears during filming. Hilarity ensues, including some Cold War Red Scare commentary. We’ve watched most of the Coens’ filmography at this point, and we’re not stopping now. After that is Wallace & Gromit spinoff Shaun the Sheep Movie (2015), a British claymation comedy concerning a sheep who separates from his master and goes on a wacky slapstick adventure in the big city. Great reviews for this one, and the Chicken Run movies were a hit here, so let’s keep the ball rolling. Last in tonight’s lineup is Sailor Moon S The Movie: Hearts in Ice (1994), because I accidentally put on the SuperS movie the other day, and since that one also has some Christmasey stuff in it, I didn’t even realize it was the wrong one until after it was over. Anyway, this is the Christmas installment of the long-running series, in which the girls must stop an evil witch from covering the world in ice. Look, it’s a Christmas anime, alright? Good enough.

We’ll start at 9PM EST on Hextube, right here: https://live.hexbear.net/c/movies

Be there, comrades!
