Sweet, getting trained in helping out the cook crew, just so they can take their breaks. Hot af standing over a fryer, but it’s good work. Mixing batter is fun!
Flour on my boots, a delicious treat got later lol
Yay!!
Remembered you were interested in doing vet nursing. Were you still wanting to continue down that line of work too?
Yes I am still, but I’m happy to wait for an opportunity while doing this :) it’s good hard work, fun, and I like my coworkers.
Yay love it!!!
Sat down and learned how to use FFMPEG to convert files last night. It might sound sacrilegious but I want to convert some flacs to mp3. These are car songs for the kids, I needed to convert whole folders at a time because we don’t need 1gb albums in the car
flacs to mp3
It’s pretty hard to hear the difference from flac -> 320kbps mp3 in a car.
BUT kiddos have better hearing than us oldies so would be interesting to do a blind test with them and ask if they can tell the format difference in the car. Might break up the ‘are we there yet’ routine 🙃
They just want to hear Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult again and again. I converted the flacs through VLC and there’s such a volume dropoff between that track and the others on the car USB
This week is unKAOSing and organise week, it will not be easy
Back to school this morning. I’m reliably informed I need to learn more of my times tables 🍎📚
Back of the toilet door. I also had a placemat.
You are extra special if you learn 13&14 rather then just to 12
Stayed home from work today, no regrets (until tomorrow, probably)
“Special People” day at the primary school is going well
spent the afternoon at ikea, what a horrible place
in the future everyone will have the same red sofas from Idiocracy, welcome, I love you
I like ikea. I mean not the bit where they have to put ‘not functional’ notices in the display toilets, but generally the maze is fun
I would really like to see the break down of sales, I suspect mostly cheaper items,
I do like that they have services to help people build bathrooms and kitchens and the children’s items are adorable
it’s just that there has to be more to life than shopping
I only click an collect now, f the store.
Waves tonight:
Didn’t see a soul. Completely empty beach.
What a ripper of an evening for it!
Was lovlee in there tonight.
Anxiety is through the roof right now. I haven’t touched my instruments in ages. I just wake up, go to work or uni, then come home and scroll or do uni work. I can feel myself sinking into the abyss.
hugs
heavy workloads sometimes happen in life, the workload will ease one day and you will be balanced again
moar hugs
I’ve been actively working to reduce my scroll time, I get so frustrated by myself with how much time I waste doing it. Maybe being a bit more conscious of it will help?
