I’ve been working on a simple bot for posting game threads in my spare time for fun. Wondering if it’s worth hosting (and if the mods are okay with it).
I know the community is quite slow, so I’m not sure if posting a bunch of game threads would help or not.
We used to use the game day bot on the Caps sub, but we stopped using it because it started choking mid-game, and we never bothered to debug it. If you browse the Caps sub by age and scroll past the manual game day threads, you’ll see what I mean.
I think I’ve fixed the crashing. It was caused by a change in the NHL API. There’s some other changes that are causing some other stats to not be filled out, but at least it’s working for the moment.

I think it’s in a usable state now. Are you alright with me turning it on for the sub tomorrow? You seem like the only active mod :p
