This was a beautifully animated movie, but I feel like the pacing of the story is too fast. Hamito runs through the movie like Doom Guy running through Hell. I do wish there was more world building, but the action was cool to watch.

That’s something you don’t often hear about Miyazaki films. I’m looking forward to watching it.

Interesting perspective! Personally I thought the pacing was good there were en I’ll enough quite moments that slowed it down for me. Not saying your wrong just that we probably have different tastes.

I love how he wrapped up the themes of the movie

      (spoilers ahead)

with him accepting his new mother and finding his will to stay in the normal work. Which I saw as him finding his will to live.

I looked at the credits on the studios who assisted with the movie, and I felt I pinpointed the exact scenes where they’re involved.

I made the mistake of thinking I could just show up to the theater and buy a ticket. Ended up having to push things back to one of the later showtimes. Great movie!
