Not the first electronic video game, but it was the first arcade video game, according to wikipedia. Arcade games before that were electromechanical.

Computer space

Nolan Bushnell was one of the two developers of this. He famously went on to create the Atari corporation.

This had similar gameplay to Space War (1962), one of the first video games ever, but that one never made it out of university labs, and required a computer the size of a couple refrigerators. Computer Space made it into arcades and fit into a svelte arcade console.
