Labour are now ahead of Reform in polls from More in Common (28% to 24%) and Survation (26% to 24%). Also YouGov has Labour and Reform on level terms, both at 22%. This is the first time in over a year that Reform has not had a lead over Labour.

It’s horrid that Britain has reached a state where the most popular left wing party gets less than a third and the party snapping at their tails is basically The National Front 2.
Labour haven’t really been a left wing party since 1995
1950, they stopped being a left wing party when they told women to get back in the kitchen and abided by governments where raping women was legal, abortion was illegal and being gay was mentally ill. I spit on labour as a historical entity.

The fact that other parties exist that are much further to the right of Labour doesn’t change the fact that Labour revoked their commitment to moving the means of production into public ownership under Tony Blair, and have since systematically ousted every left wing MP from their ranks.
I’m all for tactical voting to keep the likes of Farage away from power (though that will probably mean having to vote SNP where I live), but that doesn’t magically counteract the last 30 years of New Labour’s neoliberalism.
Or, you know, you could vote Greenparty.

You are an ignorant fool whose behaviour directly leads to the rise of parties like Reform and the constant electoral return of the Tory Party in the past. Labour are controlled opposition that have always been the release valve for pent-up frustration for workers, ceding ground to the right over and over again by allowing the overton window to remain in the ridiculous position it’s ended up in.
The only time the Labour party achieved anything radical was on the heels of WW2 when the growing strength of the USSR and the Warsaw Pact, alongside workers being trained to use arms and having recently fought a bloody war against fascists and ready to fight capital at home violently, brought a whole suite of very radical reforms to the system as concessions to the working class. These have been systematically stripped back for the last 5 decades and Labour had been a willing partner in the transition, no longer fearing being held accountable by the class they claim to represent.

New Labour is not a leftwing party.
Under its previous leader it was probably even to the right of center-right.
Jury is still out on how far to the Right its current leader will keep it.
