You’re going to learn some very basic World History in your US public schools. It’s going to teach that the Founding Fathers were right to secede from England because they valued Liberty. The Confederacy was wrong to secede from the Union because they valued Slavery. And the greatest human achievement in the 20th century happened when the Enola Gay visited Japan.
You’re going to learn that America is Exceptional. And that means when Americans do some things at home or abroad, it’s actually good even when a dumb-dumb who doesn’t understand history might conclude it is very, very bad. We’re always and forever De-Nazifying the world. Not like how the Russians are doing it, though.

Christian Fascism has been well represented on US campuses for ages.
We’ve had history textbooks that played up the “national SOCIALISM” line, teachers that argued against the Civil Rights Act in class, and Daughters of the Confederacy in to Teach the Controversy.
This shit is all too normal in American schools. And if you’ve decided to blind yourself to it, you’ve made yourself that much more vulnerable to the next round of Charlie Kirk types who come through your town.
I’m even more convinced you didn’t go to public school in the US now.
That aside, I really don’t appreciate assumptions about my education either. My tribe went out of its way to make sure we knew where we came from.
