This community is for discussions specific to the lemmy.blahaj.zone instance, but it seems like we get lots of comments from other instances who have no real stake in the matter. I imagine the vast majority are well-meaning people who just don’t really understand federation well yet and don’t understand they’re commenting on a totally different instance’s internal matter.
I wonder if it would be possible to make this community read-only for non-Blahaj Zone accounts? And if it’s possible, does anyone else (on this instance 😉) think it’s a good idea?

Oh, I think we may have a misunderstanding — I’m suggesting making only the meta (!main) community read-only for non-BlahajZone users. This absolutely shouldn’t apply to any other community here.
Ok, But i think it would be a matter of privileges, and I don’t know if Lemmy software has that.
