This phone was bought brand new by myself in the UK and worked fine up until a couple of weeks ago…

Despite working perfectly it would not update to the latest IOS - I tried various times but it always got stuck on ‘verifying update’

After calling Apple support, they asked me to update using a cable which failed and then to restore the phone by wiping it to factory settings - This also failed and has left me with a device in recovery mode.

They then sent me to the Apple store to try and recover using a Macbook Pro - this also failed at around 33% of the way through the IOS install with Error 9 - the same error I was getting on my Windows Laptop.

Please help me.
