Logitech unifying adapter through adapter - eviltoast

Just like in the title. I own a MacBook Air m2, so I don’t have any usb a ports and I wanted to buy Logitech G Pro mouse. To work it needs the adapter to be plugged in. Can I use adapter usb a to usb c to make it work? I can’t find any proof that it will work for sure, so I decided to ask here, hoping that you might know.

Yes, but note that you’ll probably need to install extra software to get the scroll/buttons working the way you want. Logitech’s software is garbage, but there are third-party options like Steermouse.

So besides extra software needed, there will be no issues connecting dongle through adapter? Do I have to use some certain adapter or it doesn’t matter and any will do?
