Burn from Apple Watch…? - eviltoast

My girlfriend doesn’t have Reddit so I am posting this on her behalf… the other day I saw her watch blinking while she was napping. Like a flashlight almost. I didn’t think anything of it (possibly related?) but today she said her watch has been leaving a burn on her arm… maybe this is due to some sort of sensor issue? Maybe it’s malfunctioning and scanning her skin more than it should? Idk how they work… In any case this seems like a huge issue and we will be going to the Apple Store ASAP to address it…

I don’t know if it’s the same thing that I had but :

When I bought The Apple Watch 1 year ago, I cleaned it 2 times a week : this caused me to have a small “infection” just like yours

After that, for the next 11 months, I cleaned the band and the watch almost everyday : no problem since !

    Sorry for my bad english
