Connecting from nowhere - eviltoast

Hi there

I’m wondering if anybody has an idea about traveling to a place on the planet with no internet service whatsoever. What can I do to get and keep an internet connection without spending a fortune?

See if Starlink (or another satellite service) is available in this hypothetical place, and then have the service installed.

Agreed with the other answer, satellite is the only solution unless you are able to set up wireless line of sight to a source of Internet, Ubiquiti has wireless ISP solutions that can get reasonable bandwidth over quite a long distance, kilometers let’s say.

Starlink will be the most cost effective and highest speed satellite option. SES has O3b but that will be excitingly expensive if you’re paying for it yourself.
