I lost my phone last night. Find My is activated. Phone is off. I activated lost mode, but it hasn’t been turned on.
It’s been 16 hours. I read somewhere the location only pings for 24 hours, is that accurate?

In a couple of weeks, you are going to get a message (most likely from China) asking you to remove the phone from your icloud. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES should you do that. NEVER
Find My should work even if the phone is turned off. But if it’s stolen there’s not much you can do anyway.
