minus-squareBruteSentiment@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoThe iPhone isn’t a question. Its roadmap up to the X was probably set by that point. It’s the iPad and Mac evolutions that probably would’ve been very different, though the move to the M chips was probably the plan back then.

minus-squaretaxis-asocial@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoYeah idk what their answer is supposed to mean. Since the X we have had Xs, 11, 12, 13, 14 and 15
minus-squarejuicyjerry300@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoReally 6-8 are similar and x-14 are similar. Gradual improvement and small upgrades along with way but nothing ground breaking
minus-squareVirucid@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoThe X was perfect. Everything after was Xs
minus-squareskisagooner@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoX?! No way. Jobs would not allow the elongation of the 5 from the 4.
minus-squareKevin1056@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI don’t think they planned upto iPhone X in 2011
minus-squareGroundbreakingBus828@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoMost of the iPhone designs and most of the stuff you use on a daily basis is designed 10 years prior
minus-squareJozex21@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoi think the idea of making iphone full screen was planned from the start they were waiting for screen of that type
minus-squarebran_the_man93@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoIt most certainly was already envisioned and being actively developed on internally in different steps. They move hundreds of millions of iPhones per year. They have tremendous amounts of planning to do in order to achieve this kind of production. I would be shocked if the iPhone launching in 2034 doesn’t already have a solid roadmap and early decisions are already being made
minus-squarefell_over@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoThe heat issue that came with poor heat management in 15 says otherwise.
minus-squarebran_the_man93@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoHow buried in the sand are you dude? They fixed in in software like three weeks later
minus-squarefell_over@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoLets catchup when you play resident evil village on your iPhone 15 pro or pro max. I am telling you from first hand experience 2 days ago. I’ve tried it on 15pm
minus-squarefell_over@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI am saying that this is not a software issue as said by them. It’s a powerful chip. Probably more than a phone can handle.
minus-squareNichigan90@alien.topBlinkfedilinkEnglisharrow-up1·1 year agoI think you’re underestimating the iPhone design cycle timeline
