My m1 pro has degraded to 96% after barely 6 months of use, i suppose keeping it plugged in for hours or days contributes to the cause.
However i have noticed that the newer the MacBook, the shorter the lifespan, and more delicate the battery is. Regardless of a 2012 MacBook or 2022, the battery makes Apple money… just as every other part
My 2021 16 inch is at 97% with 170 cycles (used plugged in most of the time)
