It’s crazy how actually caring about the source makes things so much better, they did a great job with the Terminator game so I imagine a lot of those fans also like RoboCop and are excited by the same team making it and putting so much effort into the nostalgia and story

Almost like all the little details of the source material are part of what make it great rather than being a box you do the minimum to tick in order to increase sales by some percentage.

Imagine using an established IP and slapping it on a game but actually incorporating the IP into the media’s content so it appeals to fans of said established IP.

Terminator Resistance? It’s been on my steam wishlist for a while.

Is it worth $20? I’m on the fence.

If you liked the movies it’s good, my brother is a huge fan boy and is always talking about it, how it incorporated the movies and let’s you play as the Terminator storming the human base. But if you’re not that into the Terminator then as a game I’m not sure how it compares to other games

It’s amazing that those all have the same publisher.

RoboCop and Gollum are published by Nacon. Walking Dead and King Kong are published by Game Mill. They have very similar strategies to adapting third party franchises.
