Just finished Lessons In Chemistry. It was SO GOOD.
Hijack - 2 episodes down. pretty terrible but it’s fun to watch make fun of what’s happening
The Crowded Room - 1 episode down. Probably won’t continue with it. Super boring, bad acting, feel like the “twist” was obvious a few minutes in
Last race weekend of the 2023 Formula 1
My wife and I’re catching up on MCU content. Yesterday it was Werewolf by Night and The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special, today it was Quantumania, and tomorrow’ll be GOTG 3.
For All Mankind season four and Monarch Legacy of Monsters. For All Mankind Took some time to get into it but it got better as it got into different seasons.
Quick question: only been watching Apple TV for a few months now and have a quite a few shows on my to watch list–has Apple TV been pretty good at renewing most shows for seasons?
Wasn’t sure if most listings to watch tend to continue on for a few seasons or if they “drop” a lot like Netflix. Thanks!
For All Mankind- just started watching stick through the first episodes- it gets very very good
I just posted something similar above. It’s hard to get used to the alternate reality going on in the first season but then you just totally get into the characters eventually.
I have 3 Apple TV’s. Just got a new iPhone and thinking of trying the 3 month free, but hesitant because if I like it, I will blindly sign up. 🙄🙄 and start paying.
Is it worth it? And are there any Black Friday deals (obviously other than 3 months free)
Apple TV is by far the cheapest one and they have a lot of quality content. If you have T-Mobile or maybe even spectrum I believe you can get it for free.
Monarch, this show is excellent. I never really thought that the Godzilla movies had any lore but it turns out they did I just wasnt paying much attention to it.
I’ve never been a big fan of Godzilla movies myself but this show is great. The characters make the show interesting and now it’s one of those shows I can’t wait for the next episode.
There’s sort of three Themes in Monarch:
The Giant monsters, those are really cool.
The History of Monarch and how they discovered these monsters which takes place in the 60s or sth. That’s really interesting as well.
And then there’s the third part, which is this family drama of sorts? And they’re trying to find their Dad, but some of the characters (especially the main girl) is INSUFFERABLE and written really poorly imo. That part is really dragging the show down for me…
I decided to forgive Game of Thrones and rewatch the show for the first time since it ended. I’m curious if any of the later episodes will be better in a second watch and a binge watch.
Imo the entire show is worse on rewatch. Even the earlier seasons feel tainted knowing all the stupid shit that happens season 5 and onward
