I believe it was done that way because we just don’t have the traffic on Lemmy at the moment to support separate game threads. Which I guess is basically what happens here, but with the added “pre-populated” parent comments for each game.

The NBA Subreddit has a daily Match Thread with Parent comments to each game on that day.
I believe it was done that way because we just don’t have the traffic on Lemmy at the moment to support separate game threads.
