This is a visual representation of Johann Pachelbel’s composition “Canon.” The work visualizes the canon form, where three violins trace exactly the same melody at two-bar intervals. It interprets the changing musical patterns every four bars as ten distinct stages.

This video was created for the Japanese broadcasting station NHK’s program “Meikyoku Album+” (Plus).
