I enjoyed climbing as a youth, as most of us do. I was alone at a park and decided to climb to the top bar of a swing set, make my way to the chains holding the swing seat, and shimmy back down the chain. Brilliant.
Except, the black plastic seats are held to the chain with a type of “s” shaped hook.
When I slid down the chain, that hook embedded itself into my nether region and I ended up sort of hanging there; impaled…
Oh shit. Adrenaline kicked in and I had to climb back up the chain to un-hook myself.
I knew something was seriously wrong but I was alone and proceeded to walk home while holding my bike. There was no way I was going to sit on a bike seat and ride.
Mum freaked out (and rightly so) and drove me to hospital where I received several stitches. No permanent damage, but the story continues to make people sick in the stomach many years later 😀
So anyway, back to the story.

Enjoy your weekend!
I don’t even have man-bits but I felt something retract in empathy and fear 😂 just give yourself a free Prince Albert at the local park
It’s funny you mention that because I got really into piercings in the 90’s. and had jewelry EVERYWHERE on my body.
I think I subconsciously deal with some trauma by jumping headlong into my fears in an extreme manner.
Sometimes we find we like pain in the most unlikely of places 😂
I feel five meters onto concrete when my GF at the time screwed up the belaying process. Woke up in an MRI.
You really fell for her ❤️
She dropped me.
I think of her whenever I get a headache that lasts for four days.
According to the medical reports I woke up “combative” before that.
