    I lived through the Thatcher years and never imagined I’d see the day when I look back on her with anything other than hatred. But at least she believed in something, stood for something, and wasn’t just lining her pockets.

      I was joking but also got depressed when I thought of that as some tories would actually love that. I agree that is the slight glimmer of a positive about her. At least you can have a debate with someone who has a view on something if their goal is still improve the UK, even if misguided.

        I feel the same about Theresa May, she did a really good interview on the Leading podcast with Alastair Campbell and Rory Stewart and really put across that she believes in what she’s doing, even if she’s completely and utterly wrong and was an absolutely terrible Home Secretary and prime minister (remember strong and stable, lol.)

        I kind of respect her for standing by her convictions, and would rather have her back than pig fucker Cameron and the rest
