I don’t get this take. There are probably many parents who have Amazon speakers in their home and taught children to ask Alexa when they want to know something.

All I got was “fetch x, y or z and we’ll look it up” when I asked for something. With that said, there was no such thing as a smart device then.

Kids don’t ask Alexa to do their homework for them. They ask ChatGPT.

Also, kids don’t use what their parents use because it’s old people stuff. It’s only parents who think their children do as they were taught 🙂

Ah yes, sorry. I forgot that all kids, especially in the first grades who would accidentally call their teachers mum or dad, are totally rebellious. They’d probably also not even use AI because it’s made by the capitalist system that is trying to enslave them.

Youre thinking of teenagers. Kids in the age where they might call their teacher mom or dad (6-8 years old) would absolutely use an alexa if there is one, and absolutely wouldnt use chatgpt, they probably dont know it exists and even if they do, it wont help them learn to write the letters
