Builder was supposed to wire media room for 5.1.4 back to a central AV closet. I opened up the speaker wiring boxes and it’s now clear the builder just daisy chained every left and right speaker. So instead of 10 speaker wires going back to the AV closet I only have 6. The media room is on the first floor with no access to attic above. AV closet is upstairs and no easy access from media room. How screwed am I? I plan to go back yo the builder but I’m guessing this will be $10k of rewiring with very extensive tearing up of walls and ceiling with Sheetrock repair. Specs clearly called for 7.1 which we agreed to change to 5.1.4 during the build. Any advice?
