Synopsis: Persuaded to embark on the daunting expedition, the team comprises Squire Mallow (Mark Carlisle of 'The Crown'), Ransley (James Swanton from 'The Thing That Ate the Birds'), an inebriated commoner, the forceful aide Pike (Richard Rowden of 'Survive'), and Holt (Harry Roebuck) who was the closest friend of the departed. They begin their journey.
As they press on, their quest takes a sinister turn, leading them into disputes, aggression, and a chain of eerie and unexplainable events. The enveloping shadows bring unsettling truths to light, indicating that all is not as it appears. An unknown and ominous presence pursues them, its intentions cloaked in secrecy. Can they make it through the night unscathed?

In rural 17th-century England, a group of men gather to carry a coffin on the long walk to the local graveyard for burial. Much ancient folklore and superstition surround the pathway to the church, and several of the party are afraid to walk it after dark.
