Same happened to us just before the school holidays. Daughter got sick from school and it spread to the wife and baby. They both had their flu jabs too. I had some very mild symptoms luckily.
It seems like everyone forgot the hygiene practices that covid had hammered in the last couple of years. Had to remind my daughter to stop kissing the baby
I was thinking how a few years back, if I felt a bit rough but not too bad I’d just go to work anyway. Now I can work from home so I don’t go in.
Though I do think about how people who can’t work from home are probably back to the old way of coming in anyway when they are a little unwell.
