Police are investigating a machete attack on two teenagers outside Luna Park in St Kilda.
The teenagers suffered minor lash wounds during the incident at about 6:30pm on Sunday.
Police urged anyone who witnessed the incident or who had footage of the assault to contact Crime Stoppers.
If police are seeking information surely including some description of the alleged offenders would help, not everyone who saw them would necessarily realise it, assuming they weren’t brandishing the machetes the whole time.
It says ‘anyone who witnessed the incident or who had footage of the assault’. So perhaps they aren’t interested in sightings outside of that. Perhaps its about gathering sources of evidence for charges rather than finding / identifying the offenders.
