Perez has won so many undeserved DOTD votes on the back of his shit qualifying performances.

Not bad from Ricciardo , out scoring Tsunoda after being hit by Zhou at the start

I agree, not too bad of a drive from him!Although both Alpines retiring certainly helped.

For his overall finishing position, certainly, but his main objective will be to finish ahead of Tsunoda consistently.

You’re right–I think any chance he has for a seat next year comes down to outperforming Tsunoda.

Let’s hope he’ll start getting some recognition soon, I can’t believe how few people are hyping him!

I agree, I think more people will notice now that he’s got a competitive car. He hasn’t been that far off Lando all season

And Lando is considered by many to be one of the best on the grid, only a hair behind the elites like Lewis/Max. Super impressive for a damn rookie!

Underrated part of Max’s driving is just how damn good he is at conserving tyres.

Consistently the last to pit on the same tyres… (along with Alonso)

He got that moniker partly because Racing Point loved starting on hards and going long. Not to say he didn’t execute well, but it was also a product of strategy.

I was laughing when the podium cars were lined up. Max’s tires were absolutely shredded, Checo’s were fairly bad, Lando’s had some light wear. Max makes it look easy to drive on tires that look like they were in a warzone.

It is bits of rubber outside of trajectory. Drivers drive on them after crossing finish line. They stick to the tires and add some weight. It helps from DQ in some cases.

Excited to see what the Alfa Romeos can do. The victory will easily go to Max though I think.

Let’s see how aggressive he and Lewis get on lap 1

You have to think that Lewis has nothing to gain by settling for 2nd, and Max wouldn’t let his own kid win a backyard race, so he’s not conceding anything

That’s a possibility indeed that something would happen at the start. But in a clean race,
I can’t see Lewis or anyone else matching Max’s pace.

Verstappen’s utter dominance aside I like this season. It’s very unpredictable from 2 to 16

      Hyped! Looking out for

      • If and how long Lewis can hold P1
      • Both McClaren and Alfa Romeo keeping in the points at the end
      • Perez battles and climbing up
      • Ferrari strategy not working

I’m just stoked there’s two Aussies on the F1 grid, and they’re both good, and, if the stars align, they both get points.

Also the possibility of a bit of Hammy v Max battling again, even just a bit.

Inb4 max is 3s clear at the end of lap 1

With Lando and Lewis retiring after a collision.

RB is going to win the rest of this, aren’t they

That is such a crazy record to beat. And if what crofty is saying is Monza could wrap the constructors and Singapore could wrap the drivers.

This season has been a write-off since Bahrain is we’re being honest. Most people didn’t want to be pessimistic but the expert analysts warned us even after testing already, and after a handful of races it was definitely clear.

What I’m curious about is whether anyone else can win before 2026. I know it sounds negative but the cars are more reliable than ever and the driver quality of the grid is higher than ever, so the chances of random incidents taking out both RBs are lower than they’ve ever been. And Max himself has basically completely cut out mistakes from his driving.

Mclaren is looking insane. That car is rapid and this isn’t where they thought they’d be good but they’re fucking nailing it. Same with their Pitstops. A few years ago we were clowning how bad their pit crews were, this is a far cry from that

It’s great to see how much of a jump they’ve made mid-season. They’re where Aston Martin was at the start of the season, but with two competitive drivers.

Piastri has impressed quite a bit. I was iffy on him before the season and even the beginning of the season. I’ve been proved wrong though. He’s keeping up where he needs to

I completely agree. He’s only been a little behind Lando all season, which is pretty impressive for a rookie.
