If anything, on hexbear as an example, I see them claiming most everyone they don’t like is/is friends with nazis. They seem to use hatred of nazis as an excuse for supporting some really fucked up shit.
No, Tankies don’t defend Nazis. Tankies depend on everyone just blindly accepting a wrong definition of free speech.
Tankies claim censorship whenever someone critizises them just like nazis and altrights do.
While this is not directly defending nazis, this is trying to make tolerance of intolerance to be universally accepted and thus helps nazis to also use intolerance freely because silencing harmful speech will be seen as “censorship”
