Both lead a closed community with strict hierarchies. Both have elf slave labor. Both run surveillance operations: Dumbledore has the portraits, Fawkes, the Marauder’s Map (by proxy), and Santa has the Naughty-or-Nice list. Both maintain a mystique that disguises how much control they actually wield. However, I still think Santa is more likely to be evil.
